Time to Complete Work
As students work at various speeds, we have adapted a progressive block payment method to best suit the individual. Students have the chance to tailor their project and only pay for what they use.
The minimum new course length of time is 40 hours.
Typically we have found that most individuals require approximately 50-60 hours to complete a standard bolt on neck electric guitar or bass. And approximately 70 hours to complete a set neck project.

Necessary Extras
Students will need to purchase their hardware and electronics/pickups.
As a part of our induction into the course we advise students where the best sources of guitar and bass parts are found. Some of these supplies are located in Australia and some are overseas. All have fantastic online stores and deliver the most comprehensive range of products for all budgets.
Typically we see students spend as little as $300 -$600 on their components depending on the complexity of their build and how exotic they would like to go with their pickups.
We often have many students using pre-owned pickups and hardware bought at very reasonable prices that work exceptionally well.
